Home Renovation
The Project Schedule
The contract is out of the way and we are ready to
proceed. You will have a single point of contact with
Admiral, who will be responsible for the overall project
timetable, budget, coordinating trades and sub-contractors,
and ordering products. He or she will be on site constantly,
and will ensure that you have met the trades and have
established comfortable guidelines for working in
your home or property.
Please understand that want nothing more than to complete
your job on-time, but scheduling is a tricky thing.
Unexpected things arise on each project. We will be
able to give you an approximate start and completion
date, and promise to communicate openly if we anticipate
any delays.
Without making any excuses, here are a few challenges
that can come up during construction that could negatively
impact the schedule:
- Miscommunications from one employee to another
- Delivery of a defective product
- Waiting for building permit inspections
- Mistakes - they happen - both yours and ours
- Weather, if exterior construction is involved during our rainy or snowy seasons
- Change orders. As the project takes shape, you may decide to make a change, or you may say, "While you're here, can you also?" No change order work is initiated until you have approved and signed off on it
We hope the above has given you some idea what it
might be like to work with us. Now it's up to you
to decide whether Admiral will be a part of helping
you to design + build a
better lifestyle.
